The first edition of the book "Iron oxides: from Nature to Applications" was released. Marjorie wrote together with Jennyfer Miot the chapter about the formation and transformation of Iron-Bearing Minerals by Iron(II)-Oxidizing and Iron(III)-Reducing Bacteria.
