The research and teaching activities of the group aim at an improved mechanistic and quantitative understanding of processes that control the mobility, bioavailability, and cycling of essential and potentially toxic trace elements in terrestrial environments (e.g., Zn, Cu, Cd, Pb, Cr, As, Hg).
