Short film selected to be shown at film festival
Our short film about the ERC IRMIDYN project has been selected from among 2100 entries to be shown at the Braga Science Film Fest.
Earlier this year, we were pleased to release our short film about the ERC IRMIDYN project. Working with independent filmmaker Marcus Tischner (external page Frisbee Medien, Germany), we released an outreach film that shows the IRMIDYN team at work in the laboratory and at one of the field sites in the German Wadden Sea. The film explains a new approach to study iron mineral transformations in soils and sediments and the relevance for understanding biogeochemical cycles.
The film has now been selected to be shown at the external page Braga Science Film Fest, which will take place from November 16-24, 2024, in Portugal. In addition the film we be external page available on the official webpage for 24 hours on November 21. Anyone can register to watch for free, and to vote for the Audience Award.
The film is also still external page available to watch on the YouTube channel of the ETH Zurich Department of Environmental Systems Science. For more information about the ERC IRMIDYN project see the webpage about the project.
