Welcome Andreas
Prof. Andreas Kappler (University of Tübingen, Germany) is joining the Soil Chemistry Group for seven months during his sabbatical.

We are very pleased that Andreas Kappler, Professor for Geomicrobiology at the University of Tübingen, will be a guest member of the Soil Chemistry Group until February 2022. There are strong synergies between our research interests, and Andreas’ stay at ETH will help to strengthen the relationship between our research groups. Since arriving in August, Andreas has had opportunities for in-depth discussion with members of the group, and the chance to meet people throughout the ETH community. We are looking forward to enjoying his company and engaging in useful discussions during the rest of his stay.
