Field trip to Thailand
Katrin, Andrew and Kurt returned to the rice paddies of central and north-east Thailand, marking the next stage in the ERC-IRMIDYN project.
Building on the exploratory field trip in March 2019, Katrin, Andrew and Kurt have just returned from another successful field trip in Thailand. Together with our collaborator, Dr Worachart Wisawapipat (Kasetsart University, Bangkok), the team visited selected experimental sites in central and north-east Thailand. The aim of the trip was to take samples for laboratory experiments, and to lay the foundations for field experiments that are to be carried in the near future. We are excited about this milestone in the ERC-IRMIDYN project, and the possibilities it opens for the next stage in our experimental work.
