Ruben Kretzschmar, collaborating with Katrin Matern and Tim Mansfield from the University of Cologne and Harald Weigand from the Univeristy of Applied Sciences Mittelhessen, have published a new study of chromium leachate from ore processing wastes in the Journal of Environmental Quality. The paper highlights the urgent need to remediate chromite or processing waste dumpsites.
