Ruben Kretzschmar was the recipient of an Advanced Grant of the European Research Council (ERC) for his project “Iron mineral dynamics in soils and sediments: Moving the frontier toward in-situ studies” (IRMIDYN). The first PhD student from the IRMIDYN project, Katrin Schulz, started her work in November. The three other doctoral students and two postdoctoral students will start begin 2019.
