Dr. Marjorie Etique joins the Soil Chemistry Group
Soil Chemistry Group welcomes Dr. Marjorie Etique, a new post-doc in our group. She received her PhD in Chemistry from Université de Lorraine in Nancy where she studied effects of iron-reducing bacteria and nitrate-reducing bacteria on the transformations of iron corrosion products, magnetite and siderite, formed at the surface of non-alloy steel. She recently finished a post doc at Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris investigating intracellular calcification process by cyanobacteria: Ca-, Mg-, Sr- and Ba-carbonates inclusions.
