Hiking Weekend
Every summer the Soil Chemistry group members spend an extended weekend together hiking in the Swiss Alps. These weekend trips are not only a lot of fun, but also offer great opportunities for discussions in the group and between individual group members. Sometimes the best research ideas and collaborations are created while hiking. Below you can see a few impressions from the past years.

Snow and Fun Weekend
Since we are located near the Alps, we also take a weekend in the winter to ski and have other "snow fun" together in an annual event known as the Snow and Fun Weekend. In the recent years we have organized this event together with other groups in our department.

Soil Chemistry Miscellaneous Fun!
Here at Soil Chemistry, we always take the time to have a little more fun, outside of the Hiking and Snow Weekends. Regularly scheduled fun times include things like movie nights, sharing an after work drink, or taking silly photos. It's important to have fun!
